San Antonio - ROAD COURSE THIS SUNDAY 05/23/10
just want to put this out there if anyone wants to attend.
my buddy that has a vette invite me to this. i just want to extend the invite to everyone San Antonio Sports Car Association (SASCA) Points Event #5 Solo II events (also known as autocrosses) are an all forward motion driving skill contest. Each driver is individually timed to the thousandth of a second, over a short, miniature road course clearly defined using traffic cones. Cars compete one at a time, hence the name "Solo", in a class with similar cars. Solo II emphasizes driver skill and vehicle handling rather than just speed. The corners are tight, and there are lots of them, so the driving is exciting and challenging. Solo II speeds do not exceed those normally encountered in highway driving. I was actually going to check this out. I watched them couple of weeks ago when they had it there. Looks like fun and they had a ton of cars there.

cool but look like alot of car just waiting.
so you will probably be lucky to get 3 runs in for a whole day event? i think im going to pass on this one. |
