Metra Help

I'm going the Metra route with a Pioneer z110bt (or z120bt if I could find it at the right price), but I have a 1SS.

I want the radio controls and bluetooth button on the steering wheel. What parts do I need?

I know I need the Radio switches and the bluetooth harness for the steering wheel. From there, is it just plug and play + programming steering wheel controls into the Pioneer head unit? What other parts/programming do I need to make it function - microphone and all?

I'm going to need 7. Radio Switch, 10. Switch panel right, and 6. Bluetooth harness?

I have a 1SS with the z120 - BT. I am curious about the BT button. My phone connects automatically and the radio is touchscreen. I do not have the steering wheel controls, but that was my choice. Why the BT button?

It looks clean and all of my past cars had radio/bluetooth buttons in the steering wheels and I guess it's just a nice option to have.

But it seems like a headache to wire up.

How did you wire your microphone for your z120bt? Did you just use the built in Onstar one? Did you install everything yourself and was it difficult?

The mic is run under the rear view mirror on a swivel. You cannot see any wires. I did not even attempt the install myself. My buddy owns a shop, so he did it.
