Possible Problem with Metra Install (door locks)

Hi All,
Was trying to lock my doors the other day without the key fob. Had not tried it since I installed the metra kit. Anyhow, when I pressed the door lock down, both doors locked like they should, but then within a second or two, the drivers side door unlocked. I tried it a couple times and each time the drivers side door would unlock on it's own. So then I tried it by pressing the door lock button on on the metra frame, same thing. Drivers side door would lock, then unlock a second or two later. I eventually had to go back in the house and get the key fob to lock the car. Can you other metra install people check your cars? And even the non metra still factory people?
Let me know
-John

was your driver door stil open when you tried this? That is something that is programmed in I think so you can't lock your keys in the car.

Yes, the door was open. That's my point, how do you lock the car up for the the night if you don't have the key fob?

So it's not something that is from the metra install? Factory works the same way?

There would be a programming setting which doing problem, you need to call expert lock smith who can do that and get rid of this common problem.
