Looking for PDIM software update dealer.

I'm looking for a dealer that can do the PDIM update. I know only one so far which is Hibbard but they are a bit far. Anyone got it done?

Ive been talking with Cheryl, a TSB is on the way. Will be following up with her after the holidays. Bob Stall in SD can do it, but still a bit far.

Even with the TSB, I think some dealers will be too dumb to know how to do it. I remember when I went to Selman with the PDIM hardware and asked if they could install it, the service guy said, "Yeah we can install this. What does this do, give you more horsepower?"

I think I need to update mine also, it has problems recognizing my iPhone sometimes. This new update should help, right?

i'll be taking my car in for an oil change and probably the 5,000 mile service soon (got 4,650 miles or so on it). i'll let you know if Camino Real can do it or not, if you haven't taken it somewhere else already. it'll probably be about a month.

Hmm, so I guess it would come down to being able to obtain the update from GM somehow?

I believe this site offers updates for software and calibrations.

With the PDIM... I believe a lot of us are looking at new hardware with updated software to go along with it.

that would make sense.... the software to update the hardware would be available from TIS that is what the dealers use as well....

Already tried taking the TIS2WEB info for the new PDIM hardware and software to dealerships for a fix, and none would touch it without a TSB. The TSB should be out pretty soon.

so TIS has the update? then the only reason they are saying no is because they want to get paid for it by GM and if there is no TSB they dont get paid
