Hey fivers,

I just wanted to show you guys some of my new mods.

1. I replaced the SLP classic "SS" logo's with a pair of Trailblazer SS logos that I bought on Ebay. They are genuine GM, and I think they look 100% better than the SLP logos. I used the SLP landing pad in the front, and the black vinyl pad on the trunk to cover up the holes. Getting the OEM logo adhesive off was kind of a bitch, but otherwise, pretty easy.

2. Barton Short throw shifter with a brushed aluminum shift knob. Big thanks to Dave for hooking me up with a plain brushed knob. Install was very straightforward, and the directions were excellent. Most intimidating part for me was putting the car up on jacks. I have a very small garage, so it was pretty tight. But the directions were spot on, and install was probably an hour and a half with hand tools.

3. I installed a Valentine V1 radar using a mount from this website. The power cable I purchased off of ebay and taps directly into the mirror power, with no splicing or soldering necessary. I got the idea for the mount from this thread. The radar paid dividends on my last trip to Vegas. Saved me from getting pulled over twice.

4. AAC PW13 bulbs for the foglights. I have a wireless DRL harness still waiting to install. Right now I have zener diodes soldered in so that the DRL's will come on with the headlights. I'm going to "undo" that mod, and install my DRL harness next.

5. Lingenfelter aluminum racing pedals. Just installed today.

haha i def like the pedals, where did u pick them up at?
and u def have 1 of a kind ss logos to my knowledge! lol

not feeling the ss logos but the shifter dice and pedals are sweet

TBSS emblems are sweet and the plain knob is cool. The fuzzy dice is a old school touch. Nice whip bro !!!

I bought the pedals direct from Lingenfelter. Expensive, but I think they were worth the money, the craftsmanship is excellent.
