MarylandSpeed is looking to add a Sales/Marketing Representative! This is a new position located at our warehouse is St. Mary’s County Maryland.
We are a mail order/ecommerce business selling performance parts for late model domestic performance cars such as (but not limited to) the Ford Mustang, Chevy Camaro/Corvette, Pontiac GTO/G8 and Challenger/Charger.

Basic responsibilities-
• Provide Sales and Technical support to our customers via email, telephone, and internet.
• Help Develop Marketing Ideas and Materials
• Actively represent company in venues we sponsor and network with potential customers.
• Process incoming orders, and occasionally generate purchase orders
• Help add new product to our ecommerce site.
• Help manage inventory
• Assist in use and Operation of 224x Dynojet Dynomometer
• Process shipments (must be able to lift 65lbs)
• Help maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment

Value Added Skills-
While the above are the basic responsibilities of the job, experience in accounting, graphic design, or web design (specifically PHP) may be taken into consideration and compensated for.

Qualifications-
• Must be 18, and at minimum have a High School Diploma
• Work in organized manner with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Very strong internet skills including familiarity with email, online message boards, and social media.
• Demonstrable basic automotive knowledge with preferred familiarity and interest specifically in the cars we sell parts for and products we sell.
• Sales/Retail experience preferred
• Ability to work some nights and weekends
• Submit to a background check and have a clean driving record
• Ability to work independently and be self motivated
• Experience using Microsoft Internet Explorer, Windows operating system, Microsoft Office & basic computer applications.

Compensation- While intended as an entry level position, experiance will be taken into consideration when negotiating salary.
