Is this Normal

Installed Drop springs a while back and was wondering if this is how the car looked stock and if this is normal cant remember and yes the wheels are straight.......

This has come up quite a bit here. My instinct is to say that it is completely normal, but for some reason yours looks like it is up pretty high. Is the gap even all the way around? Because I dont remember how the OEM ones were. I know there is a gap, but cant remember if it is supposed to be all the way around. I would search for this problem here in the suspension section.

I will look at mine tonight to see what mine looks like. I will try to look at a stock one to see if it is the same.

I do not have a gap on my stock setup like that. I can remember installing springs on my friends 99 jetta quite some time ago and we had same issue. we changed the spring perch and fixed the issue. how many miles do you have? I wouldn't think you have to do this on a new car.

It's normal. Crank the wheels all the way to one side and then look at it. The nature of this suspension requires this gap when turning. With the wheel turned all the way, it will be angled to one side and the gap will be much smaller on one side...
