Windshield Washer Fluid

Hello all, I was thinking about using Rainex brand all season windsheild washer fluid. Anybody have any experience with this stuff?

It is amazing!!!! Use a paper towel(not cloth)put on a first coat and let it haze. Buff it off after it hazes. Put on a second coat and wipe that one off while wet. It is awesome, dont have it on the Camaro yet but have used it for years on my Envoy and Avalanche's. Great product. Actually forget to put the wipers on sometimes.

That's some good stuff! I've put rain-x on my windshield, but haven't needed to fill the washer fluid yet.

I think your talking about the windshield treatment. Rainex also makes fluid that you put in your wiper fluid reservoir.

I was talking about both... I've done the treatment, but I haven't had to fill my reservoir yet... whe I do I'll use the rain-x brand.

Here in the frozen $hithole of the north there are two varieties. One for bugs and one that has a de-icer for winter. I've used them both in my cars for years and they work great. Rain beads up and flies off almost as good as the treatment. Never used the washers in the Camaro though, so I guess the bottle is still full.

and you are probably conducting a science experiment in the tank too.....washer fluid also inhibits the growth of nasty bacteria in the tank which can smell rather foul I've heard.

You can buy the dual purpose Rain-X Washer fluid that is good for bugs and ice.

Went to the dealer the day it came off the transport and filled my fluid with Rain-X Washer Fluid. The GM crap freezes.

Been using Rain-X windshield treatment on the windshield for 20+ years and LOVE IT!!! Rarely use the wipers unless it's in town.

The Rain-X Anti-Fog for the interior of the windows SUCK S**T!!! Leaves a NASTY haze even after you buff it off.
