New Spectre CAI for V8 Camaro

I just received a new CAI from Spectre Performance! I have been
reviewing all the posts and reviews for many different CAI kits. The
problem was which one to go with? I was looking for performance,
quality name and a good price. As soon as I found out about Spectres
new CAI, I knew that was the one to buy. I have used Spectre products
in the past and was always impressed. I received the kit last week and
installed it in under 20 minutes! Everything went together perfectly and
I had no issues. The directions were good and simple to understand (yes,
it has pictures). What I didn’t know was how the car would react. The
torque that was brought out was amazing! As soon as I pulled out of the
driveway I could feel that the car was more responsive. The low end torque
was much improved and better than expected. It also sounds better and
looks kick a$$. And no more ugly OEM blow mold plastic! Here are some pics
of the finished product.
The website is www.spectreperformance.com if you are interested. Now on to the exhaust!!

I don't like the small radius bend to the throttle body, the location of the MAF sensor, or the metal tube. However, if it works for you then it is good.

I didn't think the small radious bend would have any big impact on power. Also, does it matter where the sensor is located? I was also thinking
of buying a JET performance maf sensor, any thoughts? good or bad

Are you still digging your Spectre CAI? I just ordered one for my 2011 SS and was wondering how it was holding up after some time. Thanks.
