Cutouts installed....now what?
I got my cutouts installed on a completely stock exhaust. Startup and idle sound AMAZING but gunning it is freaking loud. I knew they'd be loud but it's almost a bad type of loud. I did notice a loss of power on the low end and was wondering what should be next. I'd rather get a manageable sound throughout first so would short or long tube headers be best? I know long tube would give me more power but wouldn't they also make it even louder? I don't mind deeper but I was wondering if shorties would take alittle of the rattle out of the loudness of the cutouts. Gunning it sounds like someone but a loud exhaust on a diesel. Not horrible but not this car haha. What do YOU think?

without some form of muffler our v6 will sound horrible. some people like it but like most of us and you think it sound bad. long tube will make it sound even louder, and depend on where you have your cut out maybe you can try to put a resonator before the exit but other than that I dont know what else to tell you.

I have the cutouts on the U part of the pipe where Rey come together at the center of the car. It doesn't necessarily sound bad. Just tooooo loud. The growl is great but the roar isn't if that makes sense
