Unhappy help w/ spotting on all windows

Before I bring my camaro to the dealer I wanted to ask if anyone has any advice for getting a zillion tiny water looking type spots off all of my windows. I tried a few things to remove it and nothing is helping. It actually looks like it is inside the glass itself. Makes night driving very difficult. I appreciate any advice in removing and I hope it's not in the glass itself!
Thanks,
~K~

If the spotting is indeed on the outer surface, I have removed spots by spraying the glass with glass cleaner or dish soap water. You need to keep the surface of the glass wet with either of these cleaners and use #0000 steel wool to rub the glass as this takes off anything stuck to the glass without scratching it. Do not rub the car's paint, rubber trims along the windows, nor any mirrors with the steel wool for it will scratch them. Only use the steel wool on the outside of your windows. This works good on chrome plated steel bumpers and chrome plated steel wheels. Don't use on chrome plated aluminum wheels, they scratch.

Sometimes water spots on glass that won't wash off can be from acid rain. A clay bar and the clay lube can do a good job of removing it if it is acid rain spotting.

I lived in New Jersey for a couple years a while ago and remember fixing several cars using a clay bar with bad acid rain etching on the glass.

You can also use a glass polish to remove the spots and any surface contaminants. I would shy away from 0000 steel wool and use polish instead. The polish I use reminds me of Brasso and it is probably simlilar. I've found that a variety of different waxes used on the top of the car can wash down and get on the car glass, especially the front and rear windows, causing spotting and wiper chatter. The polish eliminates the problem with a little effort.

If its on the glass, then its on the paint. If not removed within an hour of the rainfall ( or sprinkler spray, or whatever caused it), it will begin to etch the finish. A good coat of wax will help resist.

Wifes sunroof always had water spots. Used all types of glass cleaner but on luck. Detailed her suv and used clay bar on it and I was surprised by no more water spots.
