Pacesetters Installed
Ok, I know I'm gonna get flamed for my setup but it's mine. I have a muffler delete and LT headers now. I care not how loud my car is outside my car. Louder the better. More neighbors pissed the better. My thoughts: WOW ![]() I know there are better headers out on the market. I know what I bought and the quality and about the welds and such. No need to try and educate. I got them installed with high flow cats for $230 bucks out the door. That includes the headers. All I paid for was the coating and the cats. Could not pass that up. Here is the weird thing. Over 400 miles on them so far. Just me going nuts waking up people in China. NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT! No discoloration...look brand new still.Had them installed at the Pacesetter Factory. Took them about 1.5 hours. Ok back to the noise. Having the muffler delete for over 7k miles I have loved the sound from minute 1. I was weary of drone. Very quiet at freeway speeds. Loud under accel. Since the LT's...extreamly loud under accel/WOT. Purrrrrrzzzz like a kitty at cruising speed/freeway. Sounds almost exactly the same. My Diablo Trinity was delivered to my door today too from Ted. He's gonna tune it for me. UPDATE I don't know how to EMBED the video but here is a link to it. http://www.facebook.com/v/1421429258987 Any questions?

Nice, nothing wrong with Pacesetter headers. I have them on my 02 and they have held up just fine. Been on the car for over 4 years now.

I'll try to get a dyno run on them since I have a baseline. (See my sig). No promises. Still can't believe I don't have any thrown codes though. |

Won't have a video till Sat night, Sunday morning. I'll be sure to post one up though. Sounds like a Nascar that can make a right.
