Did anyone been able to get this insurance yet? They told me that the car had to be a limited production car. I told them that i had a r6p code. They told me i needed a letter from gm.

This from Grundy's website..

"Whether you drive a 1910 Ford Model A or a 2010 Ferrari, in most states we will consider you for our collector vehicle coverage. As long as your vehicle holds collector status and is used for pleasure and hobby use, you may qualify".

Are you prepared to always keep your Camaro in a garage?
Do you know how a mass produced vehicle will maintain collector status?
Do you know your Camaro cannot be used for shopping, commuting or going to school?
Grundy will require you to prove you have another late model vehicle for use as a daily driver.

I don't think the 5th gen Camaro is the intended market for Grundy.

I suggest you try Hagerty. I have insured several collector cars with them, including my 2010 Camaro, with no issues. Great service and a great rate from people who "get it".

I used hagerty for my 55. So I called them for my camaro. well needless to say thay are 2 times the cost of what I pay through my regular insurance with turning it off for storage.
gained a few things with them, but nothing to validate 2 times the cost. maybe a couple hundred. but not that much
