Need help with Cam info

Okay so I am looking on doing SLP LT w/ a cam to add to my slp x-pipe and axle-back. I have been searching through these forums like crazy trying to get info, but I am still very confused. Hopefully you guys can help me with some of these questions.

1) I am looking for a Cam that wouldn't require me to change the springs or anything else, such as gears. What kind of Cam would that be?

2) How much power can I expect from adding LT headers and a Cam?

3) Which Cam's are deemed favorable?

4) When I install the headers and the Cam, do I need to do anything else in order for it to be reliable and not mess up my engine?

Thank you!

1. there is no cam worth putting into your car, that wont require to change the valve train, gear etc.

2. there are manly different cams with different power gains. with a intake, cam, headers, tune you should expect huge gains.
