A little tacky, I thought...

Driving home lat night past the Toyota, Nissan, Chevy and Subaru complex I see a big tent going up between Nissan and Chevy. So I think, oh finally they are putting up a tent up for the Nissan Tent Event, they never have before.

I leave for work this morning and there signs all over this tent, they are selling fireworks! A new low even for this place.

RI legalized fireworks last July. Well not really fireworks more of those sparkler thingys. I'm guessing they trying to ride the boom of last year when everyone was selling out.

I miss real fireworks.
Dumb kids had to go and blow up their hands, or set pipelines on fire.

Salutes, cherry bombs, M-80's, bottle rockets, roman candles. All the good stuff not legal for sale In R.I.

Yeah, 'til you leave the Res with the box of fireworks in your car... The cops in Auburn hang out on the other side of the street from the Muckleshoot just waiting to nab you...

Confused, why is it tacky to sell fireworks to celbrate the 4th op? ( not proud of our country and its traditions? U got a wild hair to buy a nissan under a tent? )

Here u just sign a paper n lie that youll be taking them out of state but its just a loop hole. Cops dont care what u do with em unless someone complains your blowing up cats.

The part I find tacky is the dealer selling fireworks on his lot, or renting space on his lot to someone to sell them. I have no problem celebrating the Fourth with fireworks.

One place in the Northern California sticks here that they permit fireworks on the K-mart parking lot.

Fourth of July is my favorite holiday, I love buying boxes of Fireworks and putting on a huge display for the neighbours.
