What short throw shifter should I go with?
Which shifter is everyone running/ had the best luck with? Looking into getting one shortly and would like some input.. Post some pics also to give me an idea..

I like my Barton, and I especially like the stick and knob options that it allows

I went with Barton also.
I agree with SSOOCH though, if you go with any of the quality ones that are discussed on here, you can't go wrong.

I just installed the MGW short throw a few weeks ago and love it. It's the full replacement kit. It was a pain in the butt to install on the arms but after all it was definitly worth it. I had issues going from 2-3rd and the spring assist to center on the MGW is great. I have the black ball with orange SS to match the onterior and have had compliments and it makes the ride more enjoyable and easier to quick shift. It reduces the throw 33%.

MGW is the only shifter that replaces the whole housing. I do not see how any other shifter can compete. To each his own.

this really comes down to personal preference. You can look at the throw reduction of each brand and the shift knobs they offer. But at the end of the day people suggest the one they have, because well they have it.

I was also looking into short throw shifters, but why get the Hurst (for 300$) when you can do something like this...
http://www.mrt-direct.com/mrtntadapt.html for much cheaper? can someone explain? is this not a true short throw shifter?
