Independent N20 Fuel System

Had a question regarding an independent fuel system for N2O applications.

I am thinking about a seperate fuel system to run race fuel in for the bottle. I assume most people are running a seperate system tp avoid pulling timing and detonation. Would something like this work? Seems like if it works for methanol which is way more corrosive than fuel, would work well. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=123433
The push in style lines might be a problem, but you get the idea.
I will probrably stay in the 100-150 hp range but am a little worried about the stock fuel system.
Any input from all the bottle junkies out there?

The pump used for methanol injection runs at a much higher pressure.

Nitrous Outlet sells a dedicated fuel cell for the Camaro that inludes an aluminum tank, fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator. lines etc.

Has been working very well for us on a 200 shot.

Nitrous outlet is the way to go for a dedicated fuel system

Here is our complete ready to rock 2010+ setup.

It is plenty overkill for that size shot. It makes the tuning easier as well as adding some power and safety.

great setup. I had the one for the GTO from nitrous outlet on my car for 2 years with no problems then sold it to a friend 6 months ago and still going strong. If you don't want to upgrade the cars fuel system this is definitely the way to go

I have seen that setup and it looks very nice. I am a little worried about running out of fuel. I keep hearing about blower cars running out in th 550rwhp range. I figure if I'm in the 460rwhp area now, then I might start getting a little too close with spray.
I know you gotta pay to play, but I might not be able to play if my only option for now is a $900 fuel cell & pump.
Does the seperate fuel pump supply fuel pressure at typical fuel inj. pressures (45+psi) or more like carb (6-8 psi) pressure?

It can operate at either.

The stand alone is expensive but it is a great asset to have. Much better than a simple pump upgrade in the tank for a nitrous application.

Agreed. to me the best part was being able to tune your A/F on nitrous with the dedicated fuel's adjustability

Nitrous Express also has a nice stand alone complete fuel system. I have seen this before on someone car and it looked very nice. They are available for Gas and Methanol.

It looks like their site is down right now. If I remember right, they run about $900.

OP if you're interested, I'm putting my entire custom nitrous kit up for sale. Nitrous Outlet 2010 Camaro plate kit, twin bottle set up, billet bottle brackets, twin heaters, dedicated fuel system, progressive controller, HSW Interface, purge kit, and custom switch plate. Sprayed less than 10 times and basically brand new.
