hey guys new to this forum, my 2010 L99 camaro is currently under going a right hand drive conversion. I have all ready purchased the following parts for it.
Edelbrock Supercharger 1597 Rotofab Eforce CAI Kooks 1 7/8" Long Tube Headers Kooks Catted Connection Pipes Borla Stinger Catback Exhaust Just want some input into what other mods can or should be done. The car will be dyno tuned and afm and related features will be turned off. Also does anyone know how much the gearbox is good for before it blows and roughly what sort of figures people are getting out of theres? camshaft and lifters... some of the l99 builds have collapsed the stock lifters.
there are a few threads in the FI section talking about that. Car looks good... you will love the extra power! |

You might want to consider the JRE fuel rail mod from Janetty Racing. It feeds both rails independantly rather than feed only on one side of the engine and then hope the fuel makes it all the way around to the other side via single feed. This mod helps to prevent the drivers side rear cylinders from going lean (and then BANG
). FYI - This is much easier to install BEFORE you bolt the rails on to the supercharger. It is a little bit more tricky to install after the supercharger fuel rails are bolted in place but still possible. You might want to add it at the same time you do the supercharger. Just a good safe cheap insurance policy. You will love those mods! -Mark. |

Little bit off the topic, but can i ask you, who is making the conversion to left hand traffic for you? I have couple of my friends in Aussie wanting me to send camaros over there. I have been in willowbank twice now, i love your country. Also, i love Holden SS ute's, freaking economy in us cut us off from that deal. HSV vehicles kicks ass! Good luck with your mods. If you are in Australia why didn't you go with a Harrop supercharger?

The fuel pump on ebay makes me nervous. I do not know what they have in that kit but the Lingenfelter dual pump kit is known to be safe and effective. ADM also sells a kit that is simmilar but has a little more content for a little bit more $$$. I personally would not take any chances on saving a few bucks on an unknown Ebay fuel pump kit considering how important it is. -Mark. |
