Lightbulb Has anyone done or heard of side exhaust pipes for the camaro?

Side pipes or "leg" pipes? I was thinking of looking into it and wondering how much fab work it would take.

Thanks in advance for any pics or info.

That keystone light looks like a speed bump would destroy it... =[ It looks nice otherwise. I've been thinking about doing those too, with the exits right in front of the rear wheels out of the gfx side skirts...
I'll be watching this thread....

Borla did the Keystone camaro exhaust, and they do offer the side exit exhaust. Their website prices it at around $1,400.

I was thinking of fabbing the exhaust to be level with the sideskirt. Basically, getting the sides professionally cut for the pipes to exit.

I think it would add ground clearance too since the rear mufflers hang down.

How about coming off a set of NoWeeds or something similar so you could run open pipes or through the mufflers with a flip of a switch? Hmmmmm...........

I asked about this very thing a long time ago and the biggest concern with getting a nice flush set like you're picturing in your head is the gas tank and other guts underneath the car that prevent proper pipe routing.

So like cut outs? But with some added pipe so that they come out on the side?

Sure does... I think a 1" speed bump or even going over a curb to a driveway and your side pipes are Gone!

They'd still be there; just shoved into your paint and melting the paint on the side skirts.
