Question 2 questions

1. Would this void my warranty?
http://www.************.com/mrt-axle...2011-v2-0.html
its the MRT v2.0

2. I am not wanting to spend too much so are there any other systems that are in this same price range that are good?

p.s. I don't know much about exhaust stuff so please enlighten me.

Thanks,
Rage

Will not void your warranty ! I have a solo mach cat back system. Better value, gets rid of weight and the sound is tune-able ! MRT v2.0 is a good system but you are just replacing mufflers with smaller mufflers ??

No it will not void your warranty, and the MRT v1.0 is about 100bux cheaper which sounds just as good(it's just louder lol).......either way any MRT version will make your car sound sick!

So tell me if i'm wrong. The muffers control the sound but are only part of the exhaust, and they don't really have any hp gains (I am not worried about hp) so they are more for the sound correct? And is this something I could install myself with my Dad or is it better left for the pros, and how much will they charge to install?

The MRT's just bolt on I believe so you should be ok self install. Really don't expect much in gains with any exhaust just focus on the sound you want.

Any axleback is not just bolt on. You have to cut your stock mufflers first. Just make sure you have something to cut your mufflers with. Then yes, there are clamps that come with the mrt's to clamp onto your exhaust.

I believe flowmasters has a good video of their install. Basically the same thing, install wise.

Edit: and if you get a shop to install, I would go ahead and have them weld them on.

Ok I considered the cut obvious, was refering to the fact they didn't have to be welded. LOL

Not true, just bought my MRT V1.0 from Morano and shipping was free. With MRT Direct it would cost me $58.00. I saved $58.00, unless it changed, my exhaust comes in this week

Yeah, to most people it's probably obvious. I just wanted to make sure the OP understood everything since he said he didn't know much about exhaust.
