6x9's or 6 1/2's

I am replacing my factory BA speakers and am wondering if I should replace the 6x9's with 6x9's or go with a coaxial 6 1/2"??? I know 6x9's produce alot of base but since I have two 10" subs would I be better off with 6 1/2's for sound quality? I have an Alpine 75w-4ch amp for the speakers, looking at Focal or Hertz. Any opinions or info appreciated muchly!

It's rear fill. A 6.5" would be a bit less, all else being the same, but you'd need an adapter.
Get the coax version of your front components, or the closest equivalent, and then turn 'em down.

Thanks, which ever way I go I need an adapter so I think I'll take your advice and go with the 6.5".
