Ohhh Crap!!! Another top problem....

Yes, real crap this time. I was washing my Vert today, got a phone call. I left the car for about 3-4 minutes after it had been rinsed, but not dried. When I came back I saw some Seagull s#%t on the still damp top. I hosed it off and went over the area with my car wash sponge. All seemed fine till the top air dried. The bird s#%t had left a stain about 3" long by 1/2" wide. I used a mild cleaner and that helped some, but I still have a slightly visible stain. I will try some more cleaning tomorrow and post my results. Guess the good news is, I can always just put the top down

The top is fabric so any good fabric cleaner should work.

I had a similar issue- the trim guy (not my best of friends at this particular moment) used Napa window cleaner- in an aresol can; sprayed it on and wiped it right off, bird do-do gone completely. I had tried the 303 cleaner that came with the protectant prior, and that didn't help, but this worked very, very well. He said it also takes out any protectant, so if you use it, reapply the protectant.

Hope this helps, good luck
