Try to stay focused, list as many reasons as you can. Also feel free to list any fears/doubts you may have as well if you have any.

Why are you planning on buying a ZL1?

Because I fell in love with the ZL1.
I always wanted a 5th Gen and the ZL1 just tops it off.
Oh and the timing is right.....lol (timing = wife)

I love the Camaro... and I want the BEST GM has to offer in THIS CAR...

Well to be honest, I was Going to order a Dodge Challenger 392. Then I heard about the ZL1 and 580 hp.The rest is history!
Theres a few minor things im not happy with on the ZL1. 1) Color choice 2) Stereo system 3) wish they had a Recaro option.
other than, that im happier than a pig in poo!

For the joy in having a car with that much horsepower and is supercharged and is designed to be able to be race ready, right from the factory and covered by the manufacturer's warranty

My reasons are:
1. It is a fitting follow up to my first camaro.
2. The power, style and performance of the zl1.
3. Maintains the camaro as the king of bang for the buck.
4. Exclusivity.
5. A continuation of the chevrolet performance legacy.
6. A wickedly fast car that is covered under warranty.

Die Hard Camaro fan....... and this is the fastest one so far.

a. Had more info and pics on it
b. Got its power from 427/454 minus supercharger
c. Had old school cam so it lopy idle... LOVE that sound
c. Had more colors
d. Was free for previous Camaro owners

Because.....

.....my father bought the top-of-the-line Camaro back in '79. Times have changed...but I'd like to do the same...

.....if I could buy an SS and build my car to the exact specs I'd want...it'd end up looking exactly like a ZL1...more or less...

.....There is no Z28 available to order.

.....The ZL1 is PURE bad-ass.

And because if I don't do it now...when life's responsibilities are at their lowest...I don't think I'll have this chance again for at least 20 years.

Not really sure. Great car no doubt. Bullet proof factory race car. I have on order. Still trying to wrap,my head around whether or not to take the car when it comes in... I have a really awesome SS with what is probably marginally better power to weight. My SS probably sounds a whole lot better as well. ZL1 wins in most all categories though. The big thing though is I only put about 2K miles per year on my car. A lot of $ for that kind of use. I am excited about it though. It is a serious car that no doubt will be epic.
