F Deer!

my turn i guess to post one of these sad posts..

last night i was clearing my head cruising around like i usually do when i have alot on my mind when a deer jumps out. Mind you i am always the guy who grew up in michigan and tells everyone to just hit the deer instead of swerving....what do i do, you ask? yup you guessed it... i swerved hoping i could miss it and not damage my beutiful car. Not so much.. instead i go off the road and proceed to blast the entire passenger side of my ride into a barb wire fence and posts and brush.. yay me.

on the bright side i am safe unharmed and the car is already in the shop getting its estimate and repairs...

Hopefully repair costs aren't too harsh. Glad to hear that you are okay as well. Best of luck with repairs!

Should have hit the deer, now your insurance is going to go up for hitting the fence. A deer is an act of nature and won't go against you.

If you hit the deer, you could put it in your trunk take photos, post em on here, get crap for it and then make some jerky out of it

Sorry for badluck, I hope u didn't tell insurance co. that u swerved because most of them will charge u with the accident. The things u never want to tell your insurance co are: you seen the deer by the side of road or you swerved to miss it. What you want to say is that you never saw it until it hit you it happened so fast and you just braked and ended up off road. Then you will be better off for claim.

well I'm glad your ok....that is the most important thing......and it could have been a lot worse...... its been a while back, Feb. 23, 1993, to be exact, I dodged an animal in the road too, but it was a FRICKIN COW!!!

Here is the before and after of my car.......and believe it or not, I walked away without a scratch. My car went airborne and ended up landing on its top after a 108 deg, barrel roll!

Damn dude, sorry to hear that. At least its just cosmetic and will just require new panels mostly and some paint. At least any rock chips you had are gone now that you can paint the bumper.

Glad you are ok though, in the end you can't be taken to the body shop to be fixed and look and perform like brand new.

Oh man, the entire side of your baby, from bumper to bumper. Im gonna predict about $3,200 in damage. Glad you are ok, but I know your pain. You know that rear quarter will still not match your door? Hang in there man
