What's the cheapest way to get AFM turned off?
I just can't fathom paying a couple of hundred bucks for a "tune" just to change one setting.
Isn't there something easier?

So turning off Afm would give you better performance but potentially kill your mpg?

factory motor factory trans, Gpi ss4 cam stock heads ported and milled, full exhaust, circle d 5c 4000 triple disk, 3:91 rear end with posi mod, cai, bmr derlin rear diff bushins, bmr derlin cradle bushins, bmr trailing arms, toe rods with bushings, and bmr anti extreme sway bar. Weld rt-s 17x5 fronts and 17X10 rears on mickey thompson et street r's

Tuning has lots of benefits; getting rid of AFM is just one of them (but a huge one). Yes, you (most likely) lose your powertrain warranty, but I bought this car to have fun. The purpose of having a big 'ol V8 is to have a big 'ol V8, not a 4 cylinder.

You could always insult your AFM and tell it that it's pathetic and has a small injector. That should turn it off..
