According to my local Chevy dealer I am completely wrong about them producing anymore than 7k cars. There are only ever going to be 7k camaros. Ever.

Unless they haven't made cars in a few weeks, they should be at the 10K mark soon. The real question is; how many of the 10K have been delivered to guys like you and I? I don't have the answer to the question but it is my belief that only a small percentage of bulit cars has made it to the pre-ordered guys/girls. Fleet cars and dealer (Auctioned to the highest bidder) cars I believe account for the majority of delivered cars. Might be wrong but that's what I gather from listening to the latest interview with the Camaro's marketing director and what can be weeded out from everyone's input here.

Thoughts??

Looks like I won't be right with my guess of 10,074 for my vin....i should have stuck with my gut instinct on a vin well over 13,000

My Dealer called me today to tell me I was at 3400. He mentioned that they just got another one VIN'ed today at 9959. VIN issued at 4:00AM EDT.

Guesing that they went by 10,000 today, tomorrow at the latest?
