You just need vinyl? I got mine for free from a local sign shop. You could also try online. I believe there is a how to as well somewhere around here.

I'd suggest you have someone else order them online though. Bc as soon as you see what they offer you get addicted to vinyl lol :/

Your welcome.

I got mine from a local sign shop as well. Was going to try and do black with an orange outline. Good luck finding any that matches IOM though. I ended up throwing it out cause it looked dumb. Post pics when you get it done, especially if you do orange vinyl.

@pay_day33: Like your avatar. Where did you get it? I'd like to see a larger version. Thanks.

I used 3M 1080 Vinyl to black out my bowties. It was Very easy to work with. I highly recommend.

It came out flawless and does not have a "sticker" look.

Check out the pictures in my profile.

I ordered a small square of it from AVS: http://autovinylsolutions.com/3M_1080

I ordered some CF Vinyl from Headlight Armor to do my bowties. I've been happy with the look and easy to do.

How'd you keep it from deforming around the center of the bow tie when you had to fold it over?

I ordered Inferno Orange Metallic (IOM) vinyl decals for the front and rear chevy emblems, the center wheel chevy emblems, the side gills, and the front mail slot from http://www.bigwormgraphix.net/ and they were a perfect match to my factory IOM stripes.

OP... how much do you need? Color? If you just need a little, I can get it at work, you can send me a self stamped, addressed envelope.

I work for a printing and sign company.

We do NOT carry carbon fiber.

You could plastidip it if you want to change the chrome color to flat black. or paint it any color you like. It is simple. If its the front. remove it from the car, lightly sand it, spray adhesion promoter, primer, color of you choice. and clear coat. rear, the same but you could do it still in the car. if you remove it, itll be easier. then stick it again with 3M double side tape
