I'm on Quality Hold - A9111639 - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Just found out that my car is on Quality Hold. I called the 800 number and they called the DBC while I was on hold. They came back with the Quality Hold status and told me 1 to 4 weeks before shipment.

Well, I'm not going to have my new Camaro to take on my vacation later this month after all. Good part of this will hopefully be that I end up with a problem free new car in the end.

Somewhat disappointed by the delay. I'm sure this car will be worth the wait.

Do you know if there's any rhyme or reason to QC hold?

I just found out today that my car was built!...I'd hate to have to wait, but agree that I'd rather them work any flaws out first, before shipping.

I don't think it'll be to long... This is probably jist the random vehile check to ensure cars are coming off the line in good shape. I believe the really long QC hold is over with.... I hope!

Not sure. I've read here where many of the 2SS cars are going to QC due to driver's air bag and/or speedometer problems. Really have no clue though.

Shouldn't take long. Mine was part of the long QC that wasn't nearly as long as others. See timeline in sig. Cars should be moving through QC much faster now.
