14.5 mpg does anybody else have this low number - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Does anybody else get this low mpg number? Lol not complainging but ive moticed a 200 per week basis of gas haha

With a moderately heavy foot on the accel pedal and local urban driving... yup.

same here, I get about 260 miles to a tank..I didn't buy this car for the gas mileage, but I distincly remember my '92 that I built a motor for and carbureted it got better gas mileage and that thing was a beast..then came the wife and kids..

since day one, i got around 13MPG.

Lol, Its a Syn.

I drove my car like I wanted to for one week. Strictly city/urban driving. In my LT, I got 16.8mpg. If I drive nice in the city I normally get around 21mpg.

Mine currently reads 15.6 and I have been in the 14's plenty of times through a full tank.

60/40 mix of city/highway, and my DIC reads 19.2, but when I checked it was closer to 18.5.

if gopedal < 50%
then MPG = 20
else MPG = 4

If just cruising, maybe I can find 10 mpg. If driving aggresively (gas pedal never more than 50% applied though) I can barely find 7. If always stomping on it... well, you can guess

pure city for my cammed, stalled car is about 12mpg. If your 14.5 is mostly city thats pretty normal.
