So i finally bit the bullet and purchased a '13 1LS in black. Im a first time camaro owner. I purchased this as my "beater" car (to and from work), since a rear facing child seat wont fit to well and my wife cant drive a 6sp (i was thinking hehe). My other vehicles in the "fleet" include a '11 durango, and a '12 passat. The durango is mine and the passat is the wifes.

So what can people tell me about this car since im sure i will love?

This has been one of the most rollarcoaster car buying expirences. i was told to leave by dealers. other dealers were well over 2k away from where my final dealer was at. I traded in a harley for it (just didnt ride too much anymore after a friend was killed last year on his). my dealer gave the most for my trade "sight un-seen" (just pics via email). in fact the entire deal was all done via email. i only had to go the the dealer to sign the papers.

i found out that most banks dont want to finance you at 1.9% when you only borrow 3500. so instead i financed 7500 at 1.75% and will just pay the difference when i get the first payment.

baum, CONGRATS on the ride and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, dad's, wive's, husband's, girlfriend's and boyfriend's here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.
