I was driving down the mainstreet of my city, or one of the mainstreets, one known for cruising, and I saw a new Camaro. I was disappointed that it was in silver though. Then on my way back I saw another one, but this time in red, it looked good.
The appeal of them has kinda worn off but I'd still love to have one.

I'm kinda curious, are these going to be really popular/common place like the mustang has been, or is it just that these guys were probably cruising/trying to show it off?

yes GM wants these camaros to sell as well as Mustangs

If the camaro does not sell well it will probably not last long and the people who did buy it will have exclusivity

still haven't seen any on the road. but a crapload of 2010 mustangs already.

They had a cruise in at the Best Buy here and though I wasn't there I was told by a freind that there were 5 of them there.

Well...that's the goal...and it's well on route to meeting that goal.

To put it in perspective...It's outsold the Mustang two months in a row now...without the advantages of extra models like the convertible and GT500...all this in a recession...and without incentives of ANY kind....

In year or so there will be a convertible version, and in a couple years, there should be a Z28.

So, yeah -- I think it's going to be at least as commonplace as Mustangs. Which is good!!
