Works great on known locations for camera's speed traps and where cops like to hide. Its all user uploaded so if your the first to roll through an area then you might get a surprise. So keep those eyes peeled!

Like someone said previously, its all user inputs so as you're driving down the road and you notice a speed trap you mark the location and everyone else will now know. So, doesn't help if the trap is new or not noticed before...

Also, if you're not in a 3G area like me then it runs slow sometimes not at all.

Trapster is very accurate in my town. Since it is heavily dependent on reports of enforcement points, be sure to make a note of any spots that cops like to hide for yourself if not the rest of us.

There really is no replacement for a market-leading radar detection unit, but this is pretty effective as a supplement. Cops can be anywhere, so it is very important to be alert when speeding, which you should be anyway because you're probably driving too fast almost all the time if you have a 300-hp V6 or a 400-hp V8.
