The release dates and new Iphone are really the big news but here is the tomtom stuff. Supposedly the software will become available when Iphone OS 3.0 comes out on June 17.

You can actually order it online now and have it shipped to your door on the 19th. Way better way of doing it then waiting in line for 5hours.

If I purchased it now it would cost me 399.00 for the 16gig :( I have to wait until 12 december to get the 199 price for the 16gig. I can wait, supposedly thatS when my camaro gets here as well.

Yup. But it's the truth. Garmin and TomTom (as well as many others) have had Windows Mobile apps available for years.

Oh yea... TomTom didn't announce a price. Equivalent software on Windows Mobile is over $100. Since Apple is pushing out a subscription model, I'm guessing they'll go that route. How's $10/month for GPS sounding?

P.S. The Pre has turn-by-turn GPS included in all the plans on Sprint which are already cheaper than the AT&T iPhone plans.

to bad sprint sucks, had them, switched to ATT to get the Iphone, and now im much happier, and my bills actually cheaper (but thats a whole other story)
