More Mods

Just dropped my Z off at Cunningham Motorsports in So Cal for some more mods. Adding 2.55 upper pulley, squash fuel system with a flex fuel sensor, 102 mm NW tb, and porting the snout..... mods that are currently on the car ... AFCO Heat Exchanger, Lingenfelter Reservoir, Lingenfelter Balancer Kit with 22.5% Overdrive Pulley, Lingenfelter CAI, JBA Catless Mid Pipe, FIC850CC Injectors, CMS Custom Camshaft kit and CMS Tune.... hopefully I'm at a least 700rwhp when all said and done...

With all that power, I wonder how the car handles taking corners & etc?

Should handle fine .... not going to be going through a corner at no 150mph either lol...... running R888 and these tires handle corners very good

With a pic of his car at the drag strip, I don't think he's too worried about corners.

Looking forward to see what you put down on corn. I am hoping to hit that 700 number as well. But not sure I will get there on pump without head work and or more fuel.

These tires are the best.... great on gripping the corners and are probably the closest to a drag radial .... @ 594rwhp I would spin at a 45-50mph roll with my f1's now I can do at least a 20mph roll with no spin but tires have to be warm .... tried it with the tires cold and it didn't work as well but buy far better tire then the f1's

The f1s are really that bad huh? I am still trying to decide on the MPSS or the r888s

r888 are not good daily driver tires as they are very noisy but stick well when needed at the road course. MPSS are much better daily driver/performance tires

I would disagree I don't think they are bad daily drivers, I think they are great for dd. Wont last as long as the mpss but are way stickier. My car is loud so I don't hear them but I also only have them on the rear and I keep the f1's on the front. But when I need my car to hook they hook I don't think you can say the same for the mpss.

If you like the monster truck tire "wa wa wa wa" starting at 35mph...go for the R888 on the front. Turn up the radio...
