Shifter Knob
I ordered my Cyber Gray LS on July 14, 2009.
I love the new Camaros and can't wait for mine to arrive. However, I REALLY do not like the shifter knob. Can anyone tell me how to remove the original and put something like this on instead? http://hurst-shifters.com/hurst-prod...-CHROME-FINISH Any advice/help would be appreciated. Richard |

Richard:
Pull up (HARD) on the stock knob.There are no threads on the shifter shaft. You will have to cut threads onto the shaft yourself. There was a thread on this site in ref to your Q. one of the members did what you want to do, and he takes you through the whole process. Good luck
