So I go up and compliment the kid, and I kinda get a shitty attitude. Then he asks me what I drive, I tell him a 2010 Camaro. I got handed the stock question: "Does it transform lol!!!11!11!"

I told him yeah, but if I push the button to transform it, it voids my warranty.

I know it wasn't very friendly of me, but it was a once in a lifetime opportunity. Doubt I'll see another GTR for at least 3 years.

Isn't it a big car? It seems smaller in pictures...to me, anyways.

I blew through and destroyed every GT-R police car in Need for Speed Undercover with my Corvette Z06.

It looks about the same size as a Camaro to me, maybe a little shorter...But then again, you are asking a guy that a few weeks ago would have swore that a 3rd Gen was bigger then the 5th Gen...lol. I'm not the best judge of these things.

It's weird, but I live in the Vancouver area so I see GT-R's all the time. I saw like two today!

It's the nice thing about living in the Vancouver area: there's about a billion rare cars driving around.

I live in the Japantown area of San Francisco and I see a few different GTRs every now and then.

I would love to get one! I think a 370z might be a more realistic purchase in the not so distant future though.

I really like the GT-R but the supercar cost of maintenance and issues that Edmunds had with their long-term GT-R would make me worry. Plus I hear it’s like $20k to replace the transmission, imagine that going up out of warranty. If it was more reliable and had a good manual transmission I’d look into getting a used one in a few years. Wouldn’t touch it otherwise.
