Best (quickest) way to drive with tap-shift?

Want people's opinion on what is the best way to achieve best performance results with the automatic (and don't say get the manual). Tap shift? Regular drive? Traction control on/off? StabilTrak on/off?
Curious both off the line, and for highway performance. Thanx

Put it down in M but do not touch the tapshift paddles. You are now in sport mode. That will be pretty quick. I would leave everything turned on unless you want to spin tires.

At the strip, do not use the paddles. I tried it. Put the shifter into "M" and do not touch the paddles. This is the best way. The computer can't be beaten. When I tried the paddles, I wasn't quick enough and hit the rev limiter. My best times were in "M".

On the track deff dont touch the paddles, put it in M and let it do the work. for the highway I found that my best rolling start is between 45 and 55 mph. when doing so you should be at (now I forget which one) either 2nd or 3rd at around 5000 rpm's and you should practice this cuz it will jump on you really quickly and you will hit the rev limiter (i know cuz i've done it before and it has made me loss to someone i deff shouldnt have lossed to) but ive come to find that hitting the paddle at about 5700, 5800 rpm's and you should be good.

would you guys consider this applicable to the V6?

if this is true i never knew it. i didn't know there was any difference when putting in in M and disregarding the tap-shift.

To use the tap shift you need to look at the dyno chart to see where the top torque and HP ratings occur at what RPM. The tap shift has a severe lag to it so you need to tap shift about 750-1,000 rpm before say a top torque at 4,000 RPM and 6,000 for top HP. Don't know about the drag strip but on a road course you want to use the tap shift and the top torque to pull you out of corners and then let it run out on the straights. You need to keep the RPM in the top ranges by using the tap shift. The Auto does not do this.
