I would like to add a keyed disconnect switch to the ignition switch so car would be disabled, but car would remain power. any thoughts where i would tie that in?

if you kill power to the ignition switch you will kill power to the entire vehicle. as the ignition switch is what turns on all the relays/fuses that are operable after you turn the key.

what are you trying to accomplish?
