More about me please read
OKay to start this off i apologize if some of you lose respect for me so be it... Their are only 3 car companies i'll ever buy from... GM, Nissan/Infinity?Datsun?, and Volkswagen Group... why their the best at what they do build Fast solid reliable cars i have ever seen.. now i've been a GM fan since i was in my bouncy seat watching my dad tool on his and his friends GM vehicles... When i turned 12 i started to notice imports a little more, more importantly Nissan with the AWD skylines, RWD S and Z cars... b/c it's amazing at what you can pump out of those cars with a little bit of work it may not match a 454ci but for it's size to power ratio it's equal or better... and when i was 17 i got a jobs working for VW and Porshe as a detailer long story on how i got it but after working for them and having the chance to really tear into some of their carsi gained alot of respect for that company... i love all three of these companies.. my GF drives a Golf R32 and for being front wheel drive its a bad little car it beat my LT1 Z28 the first day i got it so there ... now if i talk about a nissan of Volkswagen group car don't get mad i warned you

Ummm...welcome? And we're not the mullet-toting rednecks of old around here...I myself have had my fair share of imports including a Supra and a highly modded Accord.
That being said, this is definitely in the wrong section. |

Its ok to like other cars around here. We have a deticated mopar guy, a guy who has a 'rice rocket', and countless members here own . . . Mustangs
But it doesn't matter what else you like, so long as you also like the new Camaro. Everyone is welcome, well not quite. Anyone who does nothing but complain about the new Camaro/Chevrolet/GM isn't going to be around very long (spammers are gone even quicker). Nissan is 3rd on my list of automakers that I would consider, but I've never had to go that far down my list to find something I want. I don't particularly care for VW, nothing against them either.

Its more than the bug, and I was refering to the whole shebang too, I tend to say Dodge rather than Chrysler LLC or what ever it is.
I like Porsche, anything that I've heard is that they are quite good all around. Great performance, reasonable reliability, not too expensive -considering what you get. But for everything else under the umbrella, I just don't care for them. I have a particular dislike for supercars.

that thing was awesome, while having very intricate gadgets & gismo's in it, I was only about..13 at the time..so to me - it was very fast In retrospect, the Taurus I drive could have probably beat it The only time I think of the VW bug is when I think of old school bumble bee.

Coming from an owner of the Camaro's chief competition, the member's of this forum are very open-minded when it comes to what other cars you like. Personally I've always preferred Volvos to VW's, but that's just a personal opinion. I doubt you'll find anyone on here who will give you hell for liking these other brands, so long as you don't go out of your way to be obnoxious about it.

That auto-x experience was my firist outing ever (the video was my best of 3 run for the day), I just wanted to try it, I wasn't seriously racing or investing into it...not with a single-turbo MKIV..hehe. Reason for it's departure....ex-wife.
