No need for names...

GM and Dodge obviously felt the Edmunds drivers couldn't handle Z06 or SRT10 power without all the nanny-electronics Nissan put in their car. It's okay, Edmunds...don't get too offended. They're looking out for your well-being: after all, they'd like you to be around to test the Camaro.

Have you guys noticed how many articles they have on that damn car. Look up GT-R at insideline and you will find soooo many results for different tests they've done. It's ridiculous!!!!! After all this, when the ZR1 comes out, they better ask GM for a car to match up against it and then lets see who's chickin.

edmunds is the most eccentric of the sites that I check for info on other cars. They say and do odd things over there. If the Viper was there, it would probably have came out on top, sounds like the wrote the conclusion for the Viper "Capable of crushing all comers in any environment, its abilities are tough to match at any price. Nobody will ever accuse it of being subtle. And it's not comfortable. But if outright speed is the measure that matters, we can't find a better machine"

Also, I noticed that the Evo X and WRX STi were in there at about 40k. I smell a comp with a top dog Camaro coming . . .

Have you read the inside line comments on GT-R stories? Under the same user name I use here I call them out on how much over-coverage they give the GT-R. Its become GT-R line recently. It apparently never occurred to them that Chevy and Dodge have limited test fleets and maybe they were booked that day.

Screw Edmunds... here's the facts the last R34 was produced in 02 and i don't give a Fvck what anyone says nissan has been working on a new skyline since then... GM is building on a platform they already had they didn't have to take 6 years off to make it spectacular... it alread was and will be

Idk about the Viper, but the Z06 has been tested against the GT-R enough times already. Edmunds was probably just a day late and a dollar short.

i agree with my brother whole hearted... did GM stop producing the vette to make it better nope they didn't have to they keep their customers satisfied with every years model... i mean i love the skylines but GM didn't have to take 8 years off to build a better one
