V-6/LLT specific Emblems

Found this guy on e-bay with emblems specifically for the V6 (V-8 engines too!)

Just ordered one flag for the engine cover and 2 plates perhaps for the hood cowl next to my RS emblem if they look good... will post pics when received.

HEY !!! I didn't say I was definately going to do it... so far I think I've been subtle with the exterior mods so if they don't look good I'll restrain myself.

Those v flags are beautiful aren't they I have them too they are the best emblem out there

TJ, I am busting on you..your Camaro, obviously is a winner...I added the RS emblems after I saw them on your car....glambert, have you posted pics of your Camaro with the V-Flags?

Thanks - I agree - fixxer56 had them first so he beat me too it - I think there is at least 5 of us that have them. Been to several car shows and they always get compliments.

The size of these new emblems are small in height @ 1 5/8" for the flags and 7/8" for the nameplates - so I don't think the flags would work on the fenders like our '67 V-Flags do - probably good on the engine cover as indicated.

As I said in my post & "retort" to fixxer56 (LOL) I'm unsure the "LLT 304hp" emblem will look good next to the "RS" on the hood cowl - maybe too much. I also struggled with getting "304hp" as I plan to do engine mods come the Spring which will make it irrelevant or lulling anyone into a false sense of what I really have under the hood... these mods make one's head spin (as long as its not the car spinning...)

Just received the LLT 304hp plates - here's pics with a ruler so you can gauge size.

I definately like the Flag version - that should look good on the Engine cover - though at $26.95 its expensive (considering the '67 V-Flags which are nicer were only $13.95).

Unsure about the straight plate - I held it up next to my Hood Cowl RS and it didn't overwhelm me like the LS3 badge emblempros sells - and I don't think they'll look "worthy" elsewhere on the car.

If anyone wants the 2 straight plates I bought pm me and perhaps we can work a deal - they were $18.50 each so I'd bargain on price to move them.

Here's a pic of the LLT/304hp Flag emblem on my engine cover - sorry about the iPhone quality pic - IMO it looks pretty good.

The "3.6" and "Direct Injection" emblems came from the Cadillac STS trunk deck, ordered from gmpartsdirect.com - search to see my previous post on those part #s.

The "Camaro RS" stickers came from "Sticker Witch" on e-Bay.

I will not be putting the straight LLT/304hp plates on the car - not worthy...

TJ, I like it on the engine cover. I'm thinking of where you have the "3.6" putting the flag emblem you have there, that way it's "up front" in view. I don't have the cover on right now. I'm toying with some ideas to modify it, like cut outs and mesh work behind the cutouts. I've also posted on the Aussie thread to inquire whether the Holden V6 cover might fit on the engine. Any ideas from the V6 owners?
