Thumbs down Dash insert deterioration?

Something seems to be going bad with my silver dash insert vin. 2083. Anyone else noticing anything like this?

Is it on the surface or is it more like the layers are separating and showing air inbetween?

sell that POS!! No seriously, just take it to the dealer. He will replace them under your "bumper to bumper" warranty. No big deal.

It was not easy to see at first but the light was right one day and now it can catch my eye easily. After looking at it in detail it appears to be between the layers. Plan on going to dealer, just wanted to give everyone a heads up to look for. Sorry for the large pics but thought best way for you all to see.

Well I took it to the dealer and had to park it just right in the light for them to see it and no problem they ordered a new one for me.

Just purchased hood, chin spoiler and rear spoiler and custom paint starting next week so I have to take a short break and always nice to have a spare incase somebody sands theirs to much.

what kind of cleaner are you using on the door if any? Some don't get along with the door panel trim.

Good question. If it is the cleaner that he is using that is causing this issue, the same thing will happen on his new replacement.

Have never used a cleaner on it, I just dust it with a microfiber towel.

Just asking, Then you should be in good shape. I know the cobalt ss had panels like this that had problems.

This was a drawback for me when I first saw the car.....why didnt they make the dash a pristine retrospect of the old car.....I think we have problems ahead on this.
