Thanks for all your input. After thinking about it, I would rather be safe than sorry and would not want anyone to get hurt. I moved the emblem and actually like it better.

I added an RS emblem to the dash. I like that it adds a little to the passenger side of the dash. I know the whole air bag issue, but rarely does anyone sit on that side. I would be more worried about the CAMARO on the steering wheel lodging into my face.

If you are worried about the airbag, place it on the trim piece that matches the door panels (about 5 - 6 inches higher that the first pic).

Can you say flying shrapnel when that airbag deploys? There are no badges from the factory for a reason......

A guy on Ebay makes "CAMARO SS " decals to put on the plastic trim piece and they look very nice, search his listing and you can see pictures, he makes a large one and a smaller version, I bought the smaller version, and cut off the "SS" portion to decide IF I wanted it on there or not, I just put on the camaro decal and very happy with the outcome....still have not put on the red ss yet....this is my own $.02 to each his own, I feel that the right side needed a little dress up and the camaro decal looks good !

Good coaching - where GOLDDOG has it placed now would worry me...

I'm planning on placing mine in the trim piece - either above the center A/C vents or to the left of the passenger vent.

I do believe he mentioned that in his post...

Besides the whole plasitc panel isn't going to come flying at you anyway.

I think that covers a split point, designed to seperate under the word Camaro. Not sure but it seems logical.

I would really like to see the sticker badge! I bet those would look awesome!

I doubt very much that it would fly off and hit you.....what about the dash...that is not going to hit you

I saw where someone else had gotten these from the "Sticker Witch" and I liked it so I decided to do it also on my passenger side of the dash.

What you did also looks very good.
