That's one impressive key!

I lost one of our Camaro keys over a week ago. No luck finding it until....... my wife emptied the dryer.

So I figure this thing is done, but at least it will start the car. To my surprise, all the buttons on the fob still work even after going thru the washer & dryer. Two thumbs up to whoever Chevy contracts with for the key fobs!!

Accidentally went for a 30 minute swim over the summer with my keys in my pocket the whole time... When I discovered that my keys had gotten wet, I popped open the fob to see if any water had gotten in- it looked dry inside, so I let it air out and to my surprise, the fob worked just fine. It's still workin fine, haven't had an issue, and mine's a 2002
