Wait where is that emoticon?

Oh here it is.

Actually, when you get used to your car, or at least it has been the case for every CAGS equipped car I've driven, you will get used to it and learn to drive it such that you never notice it.

I had that on my Z06 Vette. I bought a CAGS eliminator for less than $25. Was easy to install. Not sure if it's the same setup for the Camaro, but wouldn't hurt to check on it....

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!!!!! I thought I was the only one to get this. I've never in my life seen so much to do about nothing. It is so easy to avoid it's never been a problem.

In all the 6spd GM cars I've owned...I noticed the CAGS for about a week...then I learned what to do to miss it forever...adjust your driving and it will "magically" go away.

It doesn't bother me much. The only time it annoys me is when I'm stopped waiting to take a turn and begin to SLOWLY crawl ahead then try to shift to second to be blocked by my transmission then fumble like an idiot as it drops revs! Normally if you just wind it up in first you avoid this but once in a while it gets you.
