Dumb question but maybe someone did it?

Has any one seen a new Camaro with the same color rally stripes as the exterior color of the car?

I was thinking it might be very subtle, maybe even OK looking. Maybe as surprisingly nice look?

he's asking if anyone has say an IOM car with IOM stripes. Gloss black with flat black stripes is somewhat contrasting and is done alot, but IOM on IOM or CGM on CGM might be almost like ghost stripes. It might not even be seen at all except for the raised vinyl. I'm not so sure that's a good idea though.

I haven't seen any camaros with the same color stripes (except for black because it's flat black stripes).

It would be kind of pointless to waste money on the same coloured stripes...

Are you talking Ghost stripes?
I am planing on getting Ghost bumble bee stripes with a fade on my yellow 2010.
It will be done with 3-4 color of pearl paint. Yellow,gold, orange and red.

I don't think you can order them like that if you are.

I did see a black one with factory matte black rally stripes. The car passed me in traffic, I got a quick look, but it looked very stealthy and I would say it was kinda cool. Love to see it again to get a better judgment.

I was going for the subtle look and went with cgm rally on my black ss/rs but thats as close as i would think looks decent (other than black on black as everyone has said above

I think it would only work if the colors were not an exact match like the flat black stripes on the glossy black car...

i went the opposite of tbarber with cmg and black stripes and it is subtle and you have to look twice to see the hockey stripes

Well, IMO, there's no way the vinyl and paint are going to be exact color matches. Close, but not exact. I'd think they'd be kinda ghosted, kinda. Don't know if I'd spend that kind of money to try, lol...

I tried to check the box for CGM stripes on a CGM car. Chevy wouldn't allow it.

I've decided to paint on black hood spears anyway.
