Mast Motorsports 12 degree head

Picked up a new Feb. Super Chevy and read about these heads. Has anyone used them? How about there benifit on a blown application?? 46 hp and 35 cfm over stock with a smaller port sounds like a win, win. They were using a pretty small cam too and not really taking advantage of the big flow numbers at higher lifts.

yeah I bought that magazine yesterday.
They did it on a L99 amazing gains they got.


I didnt know you could use that intake on a L99

Yeah, the only difference betweent the L99 and LS3 are the lifters for AFM and VVT. Even those parts can come out and you have a LS3. I like the work Mast has done on the L99 so far, nice to see them keep the VVT!

Those heads are going to be the best to have until someone makes some better. Only problem is that they are VERY expensive. Were talking like twice as much as the other head porters.

Yeh, I think those heads are like +3K.
I also believe those are the ones on the Stage II package from Tune Time Performance who ran 11.8 in his auto equipped Camaro.
