I'm just curious as to when you think we will see the new 2012 Malibu. I'm especially curious because I loved the 2008-current model and want to see how they improved on this model, I was just wondering when we were gonna see it. I thought that we would see it at Detroit but doesn't look like we will.

I think we need to see a new Impala before we see a new Malibu. But I'm with you, I love all of these concepts.

As a current owner of a 2010 Malibu, I've got to say I love the car as it is. We have the LTZ model with the 4cyl, gas mileage, blah, blah, and couldn't ask for a nicer car, inside or out. Other then going way back, it's the best looking Malibu in a long, long time.

What's the rumor on the 2012?

No Malibu or Camaro Convertible for sure at Detroit. I was expecting the production Orlando, but I don't know what happened to that.

I really love our 2009. Much better than the Altima we had before. My only regret is not paying the extra to step up to the LT with the 6 speed auto....

I still can't comprehend why the current Malibu isn't selling better. Its better than competitors that sell roughly 2x the volume.

Perception, and the fact that the current Malibu is lacking certain features that the other midsize sedans have, aka navigation.

But all will be remedied with the EpII model.

My wife bought the 2010 LT Malibu, it has it all including blue tooth and the great 2tone tan and brown interior with the light tan outside. The 4cy has good power (for her) and great mileage. She loves the car + she does not want to drive my Camaro. What else can a guy ask for?

Yeah i'm not really sure either I also was wondering that. The Malibu is the best looking car in it's class inside and out. Well that's my opinion of the car, I just don't understand how the Camry sells sooo good. It amazes me how people can be into such an ugly car. Yeah I know, the perception of the Camry is reliable and high quality. Well i would definetly buy a car on looks more than quality, granted i'm not gonna buy a car that runs like a 1960 vehicle but the Malibu is actually a pretty reliable car so idk what's going on.
