Is Livernois or Dyno Steve the right tune for me?

Looking back through the posts on this topic gets me even more indecisive. Too much info maybe? So I figured I'd just ask my question directly. Forgive me, I'm about a week into camaro ss ownership, and hideous that punctuation! I have a 2011 rs/ss 6M that is bone stock besides a cold air intake and a hooker cat back exhaust system. It does already have 1st to 4th delete. I'm looking for a 93 Oct tune. I've herd good things about both Livernois and Dyno Steve. Would like to hear from anyone with a opinion even if it's not about these 2 tuners/tunes. If its relevant, i have no plans on a cam, or anthing that involved. Maybe headers down the road? Thank you for your time and sharing your opinions.

Just my opinion, and not trying to take away from the respected tuners,

That money is better spend on a quality catch can instead of a tune at your level.

I agree, not going to do much. Maybe with an automatic it might be worth it for a trans tune.

You’ll need a tune if you go the headers route. I agree with the other posts that a tune would do little with where you’re at now.

Totally agree with the above. A tune at this point is, well pointless, unless you were an auto car. Also if you don't have one already, and as mentioned above, you should install a quality catch can. You will be better off keeping the oil out of your intake and off the valves. Piece of mind. Then if you do install headers down the road, yes you will benefit from a tune.

Wow! Not the response I was expecting. Glad I asked. I was thinking 20 extra hp, better gas mileage, and a better throttle response. Is something I'd like. Do you folks question if those are the benefits? Or are you just saying without full bolt on. The gains aren't worth the price? What are ur recommendations for a good catch can? Thank you.

This is going to differ from person to person. I am running an RX can since 2012 when we installed it along with the LT headers. Does its job.

You might get better throttle response. No way on 20hp and probably not much in the way of mpg.

I appreciate the input from everyone. Now I need a different vision for this car.
