Hesitation on cold starts?

Hey guys, my L99 SS has about 400 miles on it or so. It seems like when i first get in my car for the day, I'll sit in the garage with the car started for about 30 seconds or so, and when I finally put it into drive (after reversing out of the garage) and start giving it gas, it hesitates about every half second for the first 2 or 3 streets I drive down. By the time I get out of my neighborhood, it's not doing it anymore. Is this a common problem, or anything in specific anyone knows of?

Thanks!

Adam

You may want to try the fuse pull thing on the L99, just to make sure it's running on the high octane table.

More than once, a dealer has put 87 octane in a new car and that triggers it to run off the low octane table.... and some L99s have a tendency to stay on that table for a while, doing the fuse pull corrects that.

If it is very slight and hardly noticeable, maybe the nature of the beast. My LS3 is slightly jerky when stone cold too. Just a bit cold blooded I guess.

I would say that it is "common" on the L99 cars. Mine now has 13K miles on it and I don't feel the hesitation any more. As posted above, you should definitely try the fuse pull.

Mine always did that too until I got it tuned.... just put my original tune back on and it's doing it again (16k miles)...
Tried the dealer once and after a bunch of updates no fix...

I've done the pull before just to do it, but I think this particular thing is just the stock tune running rich at start up.

Nah, it's the tune, it does it putting it in reverse to back out of the garage, no AFM at that stage.

But speaking of AFM, I'm seriously getting mine turned off, it's way too intrusive, and too abrupt when it cycles back to 8. On our old Impala SS and current G8 GT, you could never sense it going back and forth, but this one is quite annoying. AFM...

My LS3 car does it too... Seems a lot of people have this problem, and sounds like there is no fix. My 04 GTO never did it :(
